Location
Het Westfries Museum
The Westfries Museum on the Roode Steen is closed for a long time due to extensive renovation and renewal. But in the city and online, we continue to tell the story of the history of Hoorn and West Friesland. We do so in our temporary museum location in the Statenpoort, but also with our online exhibitions.
Discover the story of Hoorn: the starting point for your discovery of the city
Experience the multimedia show 'Discover the story of Hoorn' in the temporary museum location of the Westfries Museum: the Statenpoort on Nieuwstraat in Hoorn. Then walk with accompanying podwalk or walking guide through the monumental wealth of the city and step into the eventful history of Hoorn yourself.
More information on the story of Hoorn and tickets can be found here.
